ELA/Math Core + Recess

Time: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM

• Description:

  • This integrated English Language Arts and Math block provides a balanced approach to literacy and numeracy development. Students engage in reading, writing, phonics, problem-solving, and math fluency activities through interactive lessons and hands-on learning. Class is grade specific (TK-6th) and focuses on California state learning standards. An outdoor recess is included to allow for movement and social interaction.

Social Studies

Time: Monday & Wednesday, 11:40 AM – 12:30 PM

• Description:

  • Social Studies introduces students to community, citizenship, geography, and history. Through stories, discussions, and creative projects, students explore the world around them and begin developing an understanding of cultures, traditions, and key historical figures and events. Class is grade specific (TK-6th) and focuses on California state learning standards.

Science

Time: Tuesday & Thursday, 11:40 AM – 12:30 PM

• Description:

  • Science encourages curiosity and discovery through age-appropriate investigations into life, earth, and physical sciences. Students participate in experiments, observations, and hands-on activities to learn about plants, animals, weather, matter, and more. Class is grade specific (TK-6th) and focuses on California state learning standards.
